Rodgers proves there's life after Favre
The Green Bay Packers proved Monday night there is life afterBrett Favre.
For the first time in 16 years, the Packers won a game without Favre as their starting quarterback. And if first impressions are any indication, Favre’s replacement, Aaron Rodgers, is going to have a prosperous career.
Playing with what must have felt like the weight of the football world on his shoulders, Rodgers was practically flawless in the Packers’ 24-19 victory over the Minnesota Vikings at Lambeau Field. He was poised, confident, elusive and effective in directing the Packers’ offense.
